The Kids Need Insurance

I worry so much about my son and daughter-in-law. They have a young son, my little Grayson. The problem they have is that they can’t find affordable health insurance anywhere. They both work, however, it’s for companies that don’t offer any type of health benefits. They’re both independent contractors, they say. I don’t know that I fully understand what that means, but I do know they don’t have any health insurance currently. Why, when they had the baby, they had it at home with a mid-wife. They told me they saved tons, but I thought it was positively barbaric. I don’t understand those two at all.
