How much is a whole shoe?

When I had a arch problem with my feet they hurt so bad, I could hardly walk. I had to put them on a pillow and they still throbbed so much. I never got much relief from the pain. I had to go to the orthopedist and they told me it would be over two hundred seventy five dollars of my own money, since insurance doesn’t cover orthopedics, for a shoe insert. Can you imagine what a Orthopedic Shoe must cost? I can’t and I couldn’t afford them so I had to buy arch inserts for my shoes at a popular department store. Using men’s it gave me more support then women’s, and to top it off, they would of paid for surgery. What is wrong with this picture?
