Medication?

By admin | February 10, 2010

As a classroom teacher, the cognitive disability that I see the most among my students is ADHD which stands for attention deficit hyperactive disorder. Some parents choose to medicate their children which effects then each differently. I recently had a student whose family could not afford his medication. I think that is really sad. Once he got on the medicine he was highly productive so it worked for him. I have also seen the negative effects of medication. I had a student who seemed more like a zombie and less like a person when he was medicated. I also that was sad.
