My Husband and Son Built Their Own Boat Together

When my son was in high school it seemed as if he and his father were drifting apart in their interests. We worried that this was not the right time for our son to be stepping out in the world alone and without a way to get advice from home when he needed and wanted it. My husband came up with a truly great idea. One day he asked Trevor,”How would you feel about building your own boat?’ Where we live, everyone is on the water as much as they can be. My son was captivated by the idea, and soon every Saturday and lots of free time were devoted to my husband’s and his working on this project together. That time spent together will always be valued by both of them.
