Fancy trade show displays produce real results

By admin | November 28, 2009

The name tradeshow can almost define itself; tradeshow- a show of trades. If you need a more simplified version, a tradeshow is where similar businesses gather in one place to exhibit their latest products, services, sales, offers, or specials. Consumers who are fans of these businesses also attend tradeshows in search of the latest products, services, sales, offers, and specials.

Consumer also attend tradeshows to voice their opinion in hopes that it will be heard and considered, in which case it may not be. It’s the thought that counts though. Either way it always makes most consumers feel better to at least voice their opinion and nag as much as they want knowing at least of 1% of what they are saying is getting through. More importantly when consumers attend these functions, or any function containing free stuff, they like to be catered to and are drawn to stuff that is attractive or pleasing to the eye. Big banners and flashy trade show displays are instant attention getters. But once you get the attention, you have to keep it.

Something about tradeshows causes consumers to demonstrate A.D.D behavior. Once you’ve succeeded in roping in a good amount of consumers, the next trick to pull out of your black hat is an interactive tradeshow booth. This is simply a booth with promotional products on display that people can walk by pick up play with and eventually if they like it enough, swipe or convince you to let them walk away. A consumer that walks away with a promotional product is more likely to become customer than one walking away empty handed.
